The Worlds Best Coach

The World’s Best Coach | Who is The World’s Best Coach?

Have you ever wondered who is The World’s Best Coach?

One way might be to do a search and you may come across a website www.TheWorldsBestCoach.com.

That would make sense right?

I’m writing and sharing this post .. after over four decades research and experience with coaches and coaching in the UK, USA and around the world.

I’ve noticed lately.. a lot of people giving themselves titles, and using apparent social proof (often from people in their masterminds / syndicates / clubs) to validate their amazingness..

So who is the ultimate coach , the world’s best coach?

is the ultimate coach the same as the best?

There may be marketing lists ranking coaches.. well the mainstream ones you may have heard of.. or some that have paid for awards or press, or got good at PR.

My answer my surprise you..

I think for you .. it could (and perhaps should) be you .. optimally. However perhaps you haven’t yet learnt to be your best coach.

Equally if we go a bit less meta.. The World’s Best Coach would depend on the person, their situation, context and a myriad of other factors.

The truth I’ve found for myself to be that the best coaching relationships are a dynamic between the Coach and the person being coached.

At their best they are extraordinary relationships that maybe a single conversation / interaction or may carry on over years.

I’ve been lucky to have had some of the most amazing coaches in so many fields and been lucky to in time call some of them my real friends. Some I knew and worked with for decades, others just a few days.

So, do you see why I’m writing this for you today?

If you’re looking to be the best coach for others, or to find the world’s best coach to help you (or a project or person you care about), then knowing that there isn’t one answer.. is really useful.

The same goes for chocolate, or a massage or a book.. It’s all personal. And what is best for you is in part up to you.

Now clearly there is some objective measures you can choose to apply, but it’s not always easy at the outset.

Think back to the classic Karate Kid movie and Mister Miyagi relationship with Daniel. It’s fair to say that he was a great teacher / coach / mentor / friend.. However how many would have walked away when asked to wax the car, etc.. ?

Equally how many coaches are really just operating from MSU.. (Make Stuff Up..) or parroting what they’ve heard from others.

Too many coaches I find blame the clients for not getting results. There has to be responsibility and in life and business it can be difficult / impossible to guarantee some outcomes.. yet I also know as a master teacher of multiple modalities, that after tens of thousands of experiences / experiments I can with 99%+ confidence create specific outcomes for people if they’ll do x y and z.

Now you may still be curious where www.TheWorldsBestCoach.com goes.. and I hope when you find out .. that you remember this article.. and it gives you food for thought.

Ps I would like us all to Remember Rule one.. Assume Nothing and Confirm Everything.
